THE man who was tragically killed as a result of a shooting on Lena Ahrens (Manning) Road on Tuesday night has been identified.
Major Thulani Zwane, KZN police spokesman said Salum Hassani, 39, was fatally shot while he was inside his vehicle in Lena Ahrens Road, Glenwood.
“It is alleged that he was attacked by a gunman who shot him while he was with other occupants in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene,” he explained.
Zwane said the motive of the incident is unknown at this stage, however Umbilo police are investigating a case of murder. No arrest has been made at this stage.
