Glenwood grannies get spoilt with pamper day
Glenwood salon gives back ahead of Women's Day with a spoil for grannies from an old age home.
TEN grannies from Bill Buchanan old age home in Morningside were surprised by the stylists at a Glenwood Salon who arranged a Ladies Pamper Day for them on Monday afternoon ahead of Women’s Day.
Natasha McGregor-Langley arranged the event as another of the salon’s social responsibility, selecting ten ladies who would not usually have the opportunity for such a fun and frivolous treat. “We usually don’t open on a Monday, but everyone at the salon was game to come in and give the ladies the full salon experience, with a wash, cut, massage and set as well as tea and cupcakes and we had Landi Viljoen come assist with facials. They also received goodie bags to take home,” she said.
The ladies were all smiles after their treatments, Lin Pearce said, “It was the first time I’ve had this sort of treatment, it was so nice I really enjoyed being spoiled, I think we are all very lucky and thank the ladies for a lovely afternoon.”
