THE recovery support group, GriefShare, meets at Glenwood Presbyterian Church on Saturdays at 10.30am.

This is an international, non-denominational support course. Each session is stand-alone, and one may join at any stage of the 13-week course.

SOUTH African National Society will have an outing to St Paul's Anglican Church, Monty Naicker Street, at 10am on Friday, 24 July.

AFRIWEAVE is hosting a weaving demonstration in conjunction with One Stitch at a Time, at the Glenwood Village Shopping Centre, on Saturday 25 July from 9.30am to 11.30am. Cost is R75 per person and includes the Afriweave starter kit, needles, two balls of yarn and three weaving patterns.

CAMINO de Santiago pilgrims past and future are encouraged to attend the Saint James’ Feast Day celebration on Sunday 26 July at St Dominic's Catholic Church, 1 Mill Road, Hillcrest at 11am.

I heart market showcases innovative, handmade, homemade and locally designed crafts, art, fashion, jewellery, home-ware, kiddies goods, artisan foods and recycled, up cycled and second hand gems.

THE Natal Settler’s Memorial Home invites you to its annual fete on Saturday 1 August from 8am to 2pm.

There will be lots of stalls, a beer garden, a tea garden and lots for the kids to do.

THE speaker for the CANSA Umbilo Support Group for August will be Dr Corne Hall of the DUT. Dr Hall, a specialist in homeopathic medicine, will be speaking about homeopathy in support of general health. The group meets at 6pm on Tuesday 4 August at the CANSA offices, 619 Umbilo Road, Durban.

THE Watercolour Society – KZN 's annual art exhibition is on from 5 to 30 August at Longmynd Gallery, 24 Old Main Road, Hillcrest. Twenty artists, including well-known South African watercolourists, are participating in this exhibition which is titled All About Colour. The opening will be on Wednesday 5 August at 6pm.
