Berea CPF will also host an open meeting on Thursday, 26 March at the DHS school on St Thomas Road at 5.30pm and invite the public to attend.

Be crime Aware

Berea police once again remind the public and visitors in the Berea policing area not to leave valuable items in their vehicles.

“There are still cases reported where valuables such as cellphones, laptops, wallets and iPads are stolen from motor vehicles,” said Lt Naidoo.

Naidoo said people must be alert and always lock all doors, windows and activate alarms when leaving your home or going to bed. “There are always suspects moving around looking for opportunities, let’s eliminate any opportunity for the criminals,” he added.
