Two injured in Glenwood collision

TWO people have been injured this afternoon after a collision on the corner of Esther Roberts and McDonald Road in Glenwood.

According to Garrith Jamieson, operations director at Rescue Care, paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided in the junction before one of the vehicles overturned coming to rest on its side.

“A quick assessment revealed that both drivers had sustained injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required,” he said.

Jamieson said police were at the scene and will be investigating further.
