TOP Gear Live is heading back to Johannesburg on 12 – 14 June this year following an announcement that it would not be in Durban this year. It’s been four years since the motoring extravaganza last performed in Gauteng and organisers  announced that the event will be returning to its original home – the dome at Northgate.

Fronted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, Top Gear Live brings to life the massively popular BBC Entertainment TV programme.

Featuring breath-taking stunts, some of the world’s most incredible cars and the usual calamitous mucking about, the Top Gear Live show has become a global phenomenon.

James Cooke-Priest, COO of Top Gear Live said “South Africa has always been one of our favourite destinations on the tour not least because they were the first fans outside of the UK to welcome our Top Gear Live show so enthusiastically.

“They return year after year to support us and remain some of the most enthusiastic not to mention the loudest fans we experience worldwide” he continued.

“We’re delighted to be able to bring Top Gear Live back to the Dome and have been overwhelmed by the support from previous partners, sponsors and ticket holders alike who have also welcomed the news”.

The action-packed 90-minute arena show will include exclusive, never before seen sequences as well as some firm fan favourites from their last 10 years of international touring.

Top Gear fans can expect to see lots of fire, tyre smoke, some ridiculous stunts and a healthy dose of competitive spirit between Jeremy, Richard and James.

Tickets will be on sale from 20th March.
