A 30-year-old suspect who was found in the vehicle was also arrested,” said Naidoo.

The suspect was charged for theft of a motor vehicle.

Berea police were patrolling along Argyle Road in the early hours of Friday morning when they noticed a suspicious man pushing a trolley. “They stopped and searched the man and found the trolley was full of tools, a tool box, and a bag of charcoal. They questioned him as to where he got the goods and he could not give a reasonable explanation so was charged for being in possession of property suspected to be stolen,” said Lt Naidoo.
