Security boost for Port Natal Sea Scouts

ADT Security donated a panic alarm to the Port Natal Sea Scouts.

THE Port Natal Sea Scouts have reason to feel safe after ADT Security donated security signage and a free panic alarm service.

In addition to providing free panic alarm services, ADT Security sponsored the much-needed signage to demonstrate their support for the safety of the organisation and to deter would be criminals from the Durban harbour area.

Glen Smith, ADT Security community development manager for North Durban said they were happy to help.

“We are proud to help the Sea Scouts and remain committed to supporting the communities we operate in,” he said.

Glen also provides swimming lessons to the trainee sea scouts and mentioned that this was a project that was very close to his heart.

“I enjoy being outdoors and try to sail once a week. The swimming lessons that I offer on behalf of ADT are a personal gesture to show my appreciation for the institution and to help the less fortunate children of our society realise their dream,” he said.
