BEREA police, together with Security Hyperstore launched their Bust of the Month initiative last week to give their men in blue an incentive for their efforts in fighting crime in the community.
According to Lieutenant PN Naidoo, spokesman for Berea SAPS, the station was most grateful to Security Hyperstore for coming on board with the Bust of the Month initiative.
Ahmed Kajee, director of Security Hyperstore said they were in the business of selling security equipment and have a vested interest in crime, especially because they are based in the Berea policing precinct. “We have been looking at the good work done by Berea SAPS members and wanted to team up with them to offer a monthly contribution that would motivate and show our support as a local business because we really are appreciative of the work that they are doing,” he added.
