Fashion show raises funds for charity

MARIS Stella hosted the annual Sunflower Fund Fashion Show for prep and high schools where each class was represented by a model who interpreted the theme ‘Rainbow Nation’.

Prizes were awarded for best dressed, best personality and best smile.

The fashion show was just one of the activities taking place for The Sunflower Fund at Maris Stella. The interact club baked 1000 cupcakes and sold them for R5 each, donating a grand total of R5000 to The Sunflower Fund. All pupils wore civies and bandanas, many wearing outfits made from bandanas.

A total of R21 250 was raised for The Sunflower Fund through the sale of Sunflower bandanas and cupcakes.
