Presentation for parents of matrics
IMM Student Support Centre will hold a meeting for parents of Grade 12 pupils.
A PRESENTATION aimed at the parents of Grade 12 pupils takes place at the IMM Student Support Centre in Morningside on Wednesday 10 September at 6pm.?
As children near the end of their school ‘careers’, parents begin to worry about what they should do next and place undue pressure by insisting they know what they should do with their lives. Couple this with concerns regarding educational standards, international recognition and high unemployment, and parents are left tarnishing what should be a highlight in any youngster’s life.
With this in mind, the aim of the presentation is to give parents a chance to re-frame the way they perceive the future of their children as well as dispelling any educational myths. Parents will also have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session.
