Carbreaking implements recovered

Berea police arrested a man and recovered car breaking implements on Tuesday morning.

BEREA police were on top form this week bringing in a thief who was previously charged with housebreaking.

According to Lieutenant PN Naidoo, Captain Stephen, Sergeant Dennis and Constable Erasmus were patrolling around Seventh Avenue in Greyville at about four o clock in the morning when they noticed a suspicious man standing at the side of a fence.

“When he was approached he started to run. He was caught and in his bag he had pliers and a screwdriver in his possession,” said Naidoo.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the station where it was discovered that he had been arrested previously for housebreaking. The man was charged for being in possession of housebreaking implements.
