Ride for books

Support education at Glenridge Pre-Primary School's fundraiser at Giba Gorge.

GLENRIDGE Pre-Primary School presents a Ride For Books at Giba Gorge Mountain Bike Park on Sunday 10 August from 9am to noon, in support of the Learn Project.

Take a bike and a book and go out for a fun-filled family day at Giba Gorge. There will be an organised ride to the waterfall, followed by a picnic.

Take your own or enjoy a treat from The Play Market or Giba Cafe.

Helmets are compulsory and rental bikes will be available. All proceeds will be donated to the Learn Project's initiatives. The Learn Project reaches out to schools in need. Its goal is to equip these schools with reading books and stationery to create a positive educational environment where learners and teachers reach their full potential.

Entry is R100 per family in one car, including entrance to Giba Gorge if bought in advance, and a new or pre-loved book to be donated to the Learn Project.

To buy tickets, contact Shirleen at Glenridge Pre-Primary School on 031 261 7272.
