DURBAN High School pupil, Reegan Tait, recently completed all of his eight miles at the Midmar Mile for his chosen charity, CHOC, as part of the 8 Mile Club.
Tait not only persevered, but swam extremely well, winning one of the events and taking home gold. Through his sponsors and the generous donations of DHS parents, Tait managed to raise R10 800 which he has donated to CHOC.
He would like to thank all those who donated and for all the encouragement and support received.
Tait also competed for KZN in the SA National Open Water 3km Championships held recently, and won a bronze medal in his age group, placing 5th overall.
