SPARKS Estate Cheshire Home in Sydenham, has appealed to the public for funds and donations of cash and kind over the holiday season as they are running low on funds.
Manager of the home, Wendy Maharaj said the non profit organisation needed assistance from the community to get them through the demanding festive period.
“We are low on funds and thank our donors and sponsors for their continued support and generosity, however we would appreciate any donations in kind as well as financial donations,” she added.
The home caters for severely mentally and physically challenged children and some adults who are totally dependent on caregiving staff for their basic needs.
Anyone interested in assisting with donations of diapers, usable old clothing, unwanted goods, financial injections or volunteering their time can contact the home on 031 209 2852.
