DHS Old Boys give back

DHS was grateful to their Old Boys for the donation of a flatscreeen tv to the school.

DURBAN High School was thrilled to to receive a new 40” flat screen TV for the Bradshaw’s Cricket Pavilion, which was generously donated by the Old Boys.

The DHS Old Boys use the fields and lights every Thursday evening to enjoy a game of touch rugby.

This weekly event began when DHS installed the lights a number of years ago and “old boy” Andrew Webb (Class of 1996, Prefect and Captain of Rugby) thought it would be a good idea to relive the memories of their after school touch rugby games.

Paul Collingwood (Class of 1998) has now taken the reigns – with Webb having relocated – and heads up the organising of the social weekly affair, with teams that now consist of “old boys” from various schools.

DHS extended its thanks to all the old boys for their generous contribution and support.
