Society opens vision centre

Get your eyes tested at low cost, at the high quality Vision Centre that was launched recently.

THE Brien Holden Vision Institute and the KwaZulu-Natal Blind and Deaf Society have launched a low-vision and optometry Vision Centre at the KZN Blind and Deaf Society building at 23 Ishmail C Meer Street, Durban.

The Vision Centre is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 4pm and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. The Eye Clinic will provide low-cost and quality optometry and low vision services for people who cannot afford to access private sector services.

If you are unable to see things at a distance, unable to see clearly when reading or sewing, experiencing red, itchy or painful eyes, over 40 years old, diabetic or hypertensive then visit the Vision Centre at the KZN Blind and Deaf Society to get your eyes tested.

For more information on consultation fees and to make an appointment, contact the KZN Blind and Deaf Society on 031?309 4991.
