Arno Carstens unplugged

Catch Arno Carstens in Durban as he tours the South African Coast with his eclectic alternative rock band this month and win a pair of tickets to the show.

ARNO Carstens will perform live at Suncoast’s Sunzone on Friday night, 27 September as part of his South African coastal tour with his eclectic alternative rock brand.

The tour is part of the annual Arno Carstens Unplugged that include popular tracks from Arno’s solo career, including Another Universe, Hole Heart, Dreamer, Emergency, Two Dogs and Battlescars Gallactica as well as those from his career as the lead singer of Springbok Nude Girls: Blue Eyes, Genie and Little.

I’ll be performing with Gus Warden on Percussion and David Watkyns on Keys and Trumpet and we’ll take the audience on a journey that encompasses genres ranging from intimate musical sensitivity right through to a searing landscape of sound.” said Carstens.

As the lead singer of Springbok Nude Girls and subsequently as a solo artist, Arno Carstens has released 10 studio albums (five as the lead singer of Springbok Nude Girls, one as half of the Electronica project, Bhelltower and four as a solo artist). He has had over 20 top ten singles, won five South African Music Awards and shared the stage with legends of the music world including U2, The Rolling Stones and REM.
