THE results are out and the class of 2017 has heaved a huge sigh of relief.
There were loud cheers and plenty of high fives and back-slapping at high schools across the Berea this morning as learners made their way to school to collect their matric exam results.

Glenwood High School’s Matthew Swanepoel, achieved six As, Keagan Cox, achieved three As and Saurav Mothilal, achieved seven As.
Glenwood High School triplets Bandile Nkala, achieved one A, Andile, also achieved one A and Wandile.
Cameron Moodley from DHS achieved two As and Jaydon Beru achieved one A.

Durban Girls’ High School’s Tessa Somasundram achieved seven distinctions, Yashna Lilram achieved three distinctions and Rhea Ephraim one distinction.
Ashleigh Bernon from Durban Girls’ High School achieved seven As and Courtney West achieved one A.
Durban Girls’ High School twins Yola and Yolisa Nzimela are ecstatic with their results. Yola achieved three As and Yolisa seven.
Fana Mahlase from DHS achieved a diploma pass and Christopher Coleman achieved a bachelor’s pass.
