Great turnout for CANSA run
To commemorate World Cancer Day and to encourage people to stay fit and healthy, CANSA hosted the Gijima for CANSA 5km event today.
DURBANITES turned out in force to support the Gijima for CANSA 5km event at Bike and Bean on Durban’s beachfront this morning.
According to Cara Noble from CANSA, there were more than 600 entries for the event, which is held in commemoration of World Cancer Day today.
“We held this event to create awareness for World Cancer Day, as well as to encourage people to be active and to stay healthy. We are so excited about the incredible turnout of people showing their support,” said Cara.
