Guitar gurus rock Music at the Lake

The sounds of electric guitars rocked the Durban Botanic Gardens on Sunday.

INTERNATIONAL blues maestro Dan Patlansky and acclaimed artist Albert Frost rocked the Durban Botanic Gardens on Sunday, 17 July.

Whether you were into blues or rock, the experience was a sizzling mix of electrifying world-class music and a great crowd.

Dan Patlansky, fresh from his hugely successful European tour with Joe Satriani, has become one of the most respected blues/rock artists to emerge from South Africa and was recently voted as one of the Top 10 best rock guitarists in the world today. Fans got the chance to hear the maestro playing songs from his albums, 20 Stones, Wooden Thoughts and Dear Silence Thieves.

Albert Frost, a highly accomplished guitarist whose energetic performances have been dazzling audiences for 20 years, showcased his talent as he performed with his band, as well as appearing to perform with Dan.
