THE Cell C Sharks revealed their new home and away kit for the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby competition this week.

The design of the jerseys is culturally inspired and based on the five pillars of The Sharks brand, which is Innovation, Courage, Passion, Unity and Perseverance.

“We have always prided ourselves as being leaders in innovation and matchday activation. Our brief to the BLK team was to design a jersey that best represents our rich KZN culture and our proud history. At the same time we wanted a modern and edgy look,” the Sharks CEO, John Smit said at the launch of the jersey.

Many of the players modelling the new kit gave it the nod.

“We are pleased with the end product, which has already received positive review from major retailers in South Africa. Thank you to the BLK team for their effort and commitment towards making our vision a reality. We hope our fans enjoy the new design,” added Smith.

The new Cell C Sharks jersey is now available from The Shark Cage and all major retailers.
