REDD’S brightens up Durban
REDD'S brought a carnival feeling to Durban with a colourful procession on the beachfront on Saturday.
REDD’S headed to the playground of Durban on Saturday to unleash a carnival experience.
The REDD'S carnival procession moved from uShaka Marine World to New Beach, showcasing the diverse and colourful cultures that make the city unique with a display of arts and culture groups from Durban, parading along the promenade.
The procession provided a spectacular display of extravagant masks, colourful costumes, and specialty acts such as drummers, stilt walkers, pantsula dancers, giant puppets and South African-inspired floats which livened things up on the beach.
The procession opened the festivities up to an uncontained after party at New Beach, where festival-goers danced the night away to a line-up of leading local artists such as Cashtime, Dreamteam, Riky Rick, Chad Da Don, Nasty C, PH WTF, DJ Feel and many more.
