Whisky Live has much to offer

WHISKY connoisseurs are in for a treat when SA’s favourite whisky festival, The Whisky Live Celebration takes place at Sun Park Sibaya from 21 June to 23 June 2018.

Whiskies on show range from Scottish single malts and blends to Irish, American and even Indian brands. Among the products on show are Macallan (made popular by Harvey in the popular television series, Suits), Bunnahabhain, Jack Daniels, Paul John, Dewar’s and SA’s own award-winning Bain’s Cape Mountain Whisky. Doors open at 6pm and the celebration ends at 10pm

“Whisky Live has a lot to offer for the beginner and well-seasoned enthusiast. Glass Partner, hosts a pop-up whisky-inspired Kegtail Bar, with complimentary cocktails.  Patrons also stand a chance to win a selected whisky by entering the #Selfie competition with the iconic #WhiskyLiveBottle.

Guests are encouraged to download the Whizzky App before the Celebration, fill out the short questionnaire and get five additional tasting vouchers loaded to your tasting card.  The App helps users to acquire more information on any whisky by simply scanning the label. Users can also add and save their favourite whisky, add their own tasting notes as well as catch up on the latest whisky news.

General Access to Whisky Live is R220 from Ticketpros.co.za, and R245 at the door. The ticket price includes a whisky tasting glass, 16 tasting vouchers and a complimentary bottle of Consol Still Water. Expect to exchange one to four vouchers for a tasting. Vouchers are based on the retail price of the whisky.

For those taking one for the team, Designated Driver tickets will cost R115 online as well as at the door and includes a bottle of Consol Still Water.
