Nutrition goes French

THE Alliance Française de Durban in partnership with Fusion French Café, ONOMO Hotel, the Glenwood Bakery and the Chefs’ Table is hosting the exclusive culinary event So Chef! 2018 as part of National Nutrition Week by the Department of Basic Education.

The event is touring the country once again offering a packed programme of various foodie activities for all ages. The French Chef Jean Alexandre Galmar will be starring in Durban.

Events include the movie Eat-Along at Alliance Française de Durban, 22 Sutton Crescent, Morningside, on Thursday, 11 October at 6pm which is an immersive food experience where the audience eats several dishes, prepared specially to match the food eaten by the main character.
Also on Friday, 12 October at 6pm there will be a “four-handed” dinner at The Chefs’ Table, 23-24 Protea Mall, 1 Chartwell Drive, Umhlanga.

Dinner will be prepared by chefs Jean Alexandre Galmar and Kayla-Ann Osborn, bringing the best of French and South African cuisine in an extraordinary menu. RSVP to 031 312 9582 or info.afdbn@alliance.org.za.
