ENJOY an outing with local hiking clubs this weekend
Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike at Hill ‘n Dale (Hammarsdale) on Saturday 22 October.
This hike is a combination of grassland and cane in the Hammarsdale area. Meet at 1.30pm at the Assagay Hotel to leave at 1.45pm for Hill ‘n Dale farm.
Cost is R20 a person for the Hill ‘n Dale conservancy.
Grade 2 – moderate, distance is ±8km.

On Sunday 23 October, the group will hike at Baynesfield Estate (Richmond).
Enjoy hiking on this beautiful estate. Meet at 7am at Union Main Centre, 45 Old Main Road, Pinetown or at 7.15am at Assagay Hotel parking or alternatively at 8am at the entrance to Baynesfield (off Richmond Road, R56, past Thornville Junction).
Donation is R20. Petrol sharing R40. Take your own drinks for after the hike.
Grade 3/4, distance is 16km to 18km.
