Point man plunges to his death

A MAN was killed when he fell off a building in the city this afternoon.

According to Garrith Jamieson, operations director at Rescue Care paramedics, the man believed to be in his twenties fell from the fourth storey of a building on Signal Road in the Point area.

“Our paramedics arrived to find the man unresponsive. Paramedics assessed the man and found he had sustained critical injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene,” he explained.

Jamieson said the events leading up to the man falling were unclear, however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
