DHS sportsmen represent South Africa

Three DHS pupils are excelling in their sports.

THREE Durban High School pupils were recently selected to represent South Africa in their various sports.

Matthew Hamilton in Grade 12, was selected for SA schools and men’s youth waterpolo.

In previous years, Hamilton has been a part of the KZN boys’ U18A team, as well as the U17 and U18 SA waterpolo side.

His next tournament will see him participating in the 3rd FINA Men’s Youth Waterpolo Championships to be held in Podgorica, Montenegro at the end of August.

Sanele Nohamba in Grade 11 was selected for the U18 SA A schools rugby side that is currently playing against England, Wales, France and Italy until 20 August in Cape Town and Paarl.

Hlumelo Mekuto a Grade 12 pupil, was selected for SA Schools U18B hockey team. He recently participated in the Tri-Nations series in Pretoria.
