Kuswag Karnaval set to sizzle

The Kuswag Karnaval is set to attract record crowds to the family fun days.

THE 10th aanual Kuswag Karnaval is set to take over the coastal town of Amanzimtoti on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 August.

This annual family-friendly festival, hosted on the fields of Kuswag School, attracts thousands of visitors each year because of the vast range of quality music, fun activities and great food on offer throughout the two-day event.

The programme is packed with entertainment and activities for all ages as well as an ongoing flea market, tea garden and beer marquee. Chetty’s Fun Fair will be onsite offering 23 fun rides, suited to all levels of excitement. There will also be a cross-section of exhibitors showcasing a variety of home improvements, travel, outdoor, sports and leisure equipment and accessories, motoring, boating, health and beauty as well as fashion and jewellery, among others.

Weekend package tickets are available through Kuswag High School until 11 August at R100 per adult, R50 per child and R120 for U18s attending the carnival and Veranda Panda Foam Party on Friday 12 August. Tickets at the gate are R60 per adult, R30 per child and R100 for U18s attending the party. There is free parking and no charge for children under two years.
