Former Glenwood principal back in court

More allegations against former Glenwood principal, Trevor Kershaw were raised in court this morning.

FORMER Glenwood High School principal, Trevor Kershaw made another brief appearance in the Durban Commercial Crime Court this morning.

The court heard new allegations that Kershaw “may have broken terms of his bail conditions.” It is alleged that Kershaw interfered with state witnesses.

The state prosecutor said the state would investigate the allegations and would reserve its right after consideration to bring the applications to court. The court also heard the state had supplied the defense with a CD of document and statements and a draft charge sheet. The forensic evidence for the defense to go through is allegedly 20 000 to 25 000 pages long.

Kershaw is on bail and the pre-trial conference is remanded to 19 October. Carl van der Merwe, Kershaw’s attorney said while he had no comment for the press, “We deny all these allegations.”
