Help police solve sexual harassment case

Assistance is sought by Brighton Beach FCS to solve a case of sexual harassment.

THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is appealing for assistance from the community with regards to a case of sexual harassment that they are investigating.

It is alleged that in 2014, the father of the 17-year-old girl harassed, assaulted and sexually assaulted his child at their homestead at Cato Manor in the absence of her mother.

According to Lt Col Thulani Zwane of the SAPS, the police were contacted and a case was opened at Cato Manor police station for investigation.

“The docket was transferred to the Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, which is currently investigating the case. They believe that a man who can assist in solving the case is in his 40s,” he said.
