CONGRATULATIONS to Louise Larkin for winning the ladies’ Champion of Champions last weekend – another great achievement – and to Bruce Makkink for winning the men’s.
The “Bobs-in” Drawn Tabs last Saturday was won by Colin Best, Doug Smith and Gail van Rensburg, and most touchers was Kurt Herman with 7.
The next one is on Saturday 24 August and all visitors are welcome – tab in by 1.40pm.
Good bowling to Glenda, Louise, Clare, Ranji and Kerry who are playing in the KZN Singles this weekend – the ladies are at RDLI and Durban Collegians, and Kerry at Margate.
No tabs-in at the club on Saturday due to the Ladies KZN Singles, but Sunday morning is the usual mixed tabs.
The next Jackpot Rollover Trips is on Sunday morning, 25 August. The format is nominated three bowl trips (any combo), two games of 10 ends, and prizes for overall winner, 2nd session and most touchers. Entrance is only R15 each. CONGRATULATIONS to John Connellan and Bruce Mikkink on reaching the finals of the men’s Champion of Champions singles, Bruce narrowly winning 21-19.

Rhumbelow Shield Competition won by Brad Lezar’s team, 2nd and winners of the Rhumbelow MOTH Shield, John Goosen, Alan Finestone, Warren Le Febour and Trevor Varkevisser.
