Get out and about in nature this weekend with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club.

GET outdoor this weekend with local hiking club events.

Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will take on a hike at Isithumba (Old Baldy) on Saturday 4 June.
Meet at the Assagay Hotel at 1.30pm to drive to iSithumba.
iSithumba is a difficult hike and not for the unfit but views are worth the effort.
Cost of R20 per person will be given to Durban Green Corridor Project.
Grade 5 – difficult, steep hill and some scrambling, vertigo warning.

On Sunday 5 June the group will hike at Hammarsdale Falls.
Meet at 8am at Union Main Centre, 45 Old Main Road, Pinetown or at Assagay Hotel (7 Kassier Road, Shongweni), parking at 8.15am and proceed to start of hike. Petrol sharing R15.
Mix of rural tranquillity, bits of industry and river crossings. Good view of the falls.
Grade 3, distance is 19km.
