The 20-piece vocal ensemble, who are committed to uniting and uplifting through music, are releasing their debut single, Freedom for Africa, and will make the track available for free download on May 25 in honour of Africa Day.
Written by Linda P Gcwensa and produced by Raise Your Voice Productions, Freedom for Africa is a call for all to unite and celebrate our cultural heritage.

Formed in 2009, the Durban Gospel Choir has performed with some of South Africa’s most iconic performers, such as Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Zakes Bantwini, Mondli Ngcobo, DJ Merlon, Bucie and Khaya Mthwethwa, and are currently in studio working on the “Uzalo All Stars Feat. Durban Gospel Choir” Music Project scheduled for release in September – so get ready to hear a lot more from them.
