Miss Umbilo welcomes Christmas babies
Five babies were born at King Edward hospital on Christmas Day.
MISS Umbilo 2015, Andile Mncube umaMzilankatha and KZN MEC for Health, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo visited King Edward Hospital on Christmas Day to welcome newborn babies and hand out gift bags.
Five babies were born on Christmas day, among them twin girls who were the first to be delivered just a few seconds after midnight. Their delighted mum, Zilungile Zuly of Mayville was grateful to receive a gift bag from the young beauty queen and Minister.
Andile, who is passionate about making modelling reachable to all, said her visit to King Edward Hospital had made her Christmas the best one yet. She went on to thank the Berea Mail for publishing the call for support, and thanked the sponsors, Umbilo Congregational Church and Super Spar in Queensmead Mall, Umbilo for everything they had donated.
