What’s in your treasure chest?
Find out what treasures you might own at the Community Chest's Treasure Chest event.
TAKE out those family heirlooms and antique collectibles, and have them valued by experts at the Ubuntu Community Chest's Treasure Chest event on Wednesday 4 November at Berea Congregational Church, Pardy Gardens Road, Musgrave, from 9am to 1pm.
Experts for the morning are Adrian Johannsson of Davenport Antiques, who will value art, clocks, watches, militaria and unusual items, Frank Chemaly, an independent antique dealer, who will value silver, metalware and glass items, and Michael Bullick of Michael's Collectibles, Rosehurst, who will assess porcelain and ceramic items.
Entrance is a R30 donation, which includes tea, coffee and a cream scone or piece of cake.
