Driver seriously injured in early morning crash
The SAPS are investigating a case where a man crashed his vehicle into a tree in Durban.
YESTERDAY morning at around 8.30am, a driver of a silver Hyandai Atos lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree at the intersection of Smith Street and Warwick Avenue.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find the driver trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle. Paramedics immediately alerted the Durban Fire Department.
Paramedics climbed into the vehicle and stabilised the injured woman, who had suffered serious injuries, before freeing her and transporting her to a nearby hospital.
SAPS were on scene and are currently investigating the situation. The cause of the accident was unclear.
