Mended hearts meet

THE Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa will hold a double dose of Mended Hearts support meetings this September.

At the first, on Monday, 28 September at Life Entabeni Hospital, Conference Room, from 2pm to 4pm, guest speaker will be Christelle Crickmore, the Science and Programme Development Manager at the Heart and Stroke Foundation SA. She will give a health talk and do a free heart age screening for members.

The second support meeting will be on Tuesday, 29 September at Life Westville Hospital, Westville from 5pm to 7pm.

Guest speaker will be Ceyoni, a physiotherapist. Ceyoni will be talking about exercising for a healthy heart.

These meetings are free to attend, and are open to all, especially those that have suffered a cardiovascular disease or stroke event or know of a family member or a friend
