BRIGHTON Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit and Montclair SAPS, are appealing to the public for their assistance in the investigation of a case of kidnapping.
It is alleged that a 13-year-old girl was waiting for a taxi at Clairwood taxi rank when she was abducted and forced into a vehicle. The vehicle drove towards Field Street in Durban CBD, where the girl managed to escape from the vehicle.
According to the police’s Major Thulani Zwane, the girl could not identify the make of the vehicle.
“It is believed that a person in the identikit can assist the police in solving this case,” he said.
