A BUSINESS owner in Umbilo. Mr N Naidoo, has appealed to other businesses owners to be vigilant following the theft of the company's air-conditioning compressor.
The compressor, which was mounted on the outside of the building under an awning at Midas, at the intersection of Umbilo and Che Guevara (Moore) Roads, was stolen in the evening on 29 July.
“As most residents of Durban know, we are faced with the problem of vagrants sleeping outside the premises at night. This problem has been ongoing outside my property for the past 14 years. I am now faced with having to secure my air-conditioning units further which is costly. I hope other companies will be more aware of this crime,” said Naidoo.
