Second blow for Musgrave repair shop

A Musgrave businessman is distraught after his camera and watch repair shop was hit by robbers for the second time in three months this year.

THREE months after a Musgrave businessman lost camera equipment and antique watches valued at R400 000, his shop was hit again by robbers at a shopping centre in Musgrave.

Nick Stampfl, owner of the store was distraught when his collection of antique wrist watches, some of which he had obtained from auctions around the world, were stolen from display cabinets in the store during the burglary.

The store is a photographic and watch repair shop and some of the stolen items included items brought in for repairs.

Lieutennat PN Naidoo, communications officer at Berea SAPS said, Berea police were investigating the robbery however, no arrests had yet been made.
