Locals add to breaking exercise world record

Glenwood fitness group join and break Herbalife's exercise world record for the most participants in a high intensity interval training.

ENERGISED locals participated along with other exercise fundis and newbies around the world in a fun and ambitious attempt to break an exercise the world record in Glenwood last weekend.

The world record was broken for the most participants in a High Intensity Interval Training workout after thousands of independent Herbalife members, along with their customers, friends and family hosted workouts at local Herbalife nutrition clubs, parks and public meeting spaces across more than 80 countries.

“Herbalife broke the world record! Will be in the Guiness Book of Records for the most people worldwide working out together in a 24 hour period! Well done to you all for participating,” said local wellness coach Benjamin McBride.

The workout began on Saturday, 7 March at 9am in Auckland, New Zealand. Throughout the next 24 hours, workout events were being held in towns and cities in every region of the globe, including in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Romania, Spain, Italy, U.K., Russia, Ukraine, Africa, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Panama, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada and the US.
