DURBAN High School recently held its annual senior speech day awards ceremony for Grade 12 pupils.
The guest speaker on the day was old boy and FNB’s chief economist, Sizwe Nxedlana, who gave an inspirational speech to all those in attendance.
The main awards were the highlight of the event, including the CG Hands Memorial Prize for Dux which was awarded to David Palframan, the GB Lapinsky Prize for Dux Proxime Accessit (Dux runner up), which was awarded to Nischay Chetty, and the Kessel Feinstein prize for third in Grade 12, which was awarded to Yasir Sacoor.
On the sporting side, the Sportsman of the Year Award was awarded to Jordan Pillai and the All Round Sports Achiever of the Year Award was awarded to Cameron Coleman.
