Make the right move this November

Be a woman on the move this November and Jika for CHOC.

MAKE it a Jikavember in support of CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation while getting into shape for the year-end holidays.

To make it work, set yourself a target number of hours you want to exercise tied in with how much you want to donate to CHOC. You can choose any form of exercise, from a gym session to a brisk walk in the park.

CHOC is aiming to raise R1 million through this nationwide campaign with the help of its sponsors Planet Fitness Gym, ABC Boot Camp, Run Walk for Life and Sorbet. Sponsors are generously providing an array of fabulous prizes for those who enter. All proceeds will go towards the CHOC houses that provide a home away-from-home for a child undergoing cancer treatment, and a parent, as well as the psycho-social support these affected families desperately need.

Register for Jikavember – for every hour you exercise, you’ll be donating R10 to CHOC – or more if you want. Simply contact bdu@choc.org.za or call 086 111 3500 to register as a woman on the move for Jikavember. Enlist your friends to join you or sponsor you, matching or even beating your R10 per hour donation.

Participants and sponsors can contribute to the Jikavember campaign online on GivenGain. For more information go to the CHOC website www.choc.org.za and click on the Jikavember icon.
