Penzance excels at athletics meet

Penzance Primary athletics team participated in an inter schools athletics meet at Port Natal School where it achieved 54 individual certificates.

Tristan Joubert set two new records in the U13 800m and U13 1500m, Jason Muller was awarded runner up Junior Victor Ludorum, Tim Shangase was awarded Senior Victor Ludorum, Amba Brown was awarded Senior Victrix Ludorum and Naudette Mukani was awarded runner up Senior Victrix Ludorum.

This is the first year that points have been awarded and Penzance was first in the girls' division with 210 points, and first in the boys' division with 341 points.
