Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell said, “Everything is quiet.”

“We’re patrolling the area, and all roads are clear. There were small isolated incidents on Queen Nandi Drive on Sunday night, but those were cleared,” said Powell.

He added that the public should remain calm and vigilant and report any incidents to security companies or SAPS to investigate.

“We’re attending to all reports that are coming in, but there hasn’t been anything serious. We also don’t want fake news to spread and for people to panic,” said Powell.

Haden Searles, chairman of the Durban North Community Policing Forum, said it’s been ‘dead quiet’.

“It’s business as usual. Everything is quiet, which is what we want to see. There have been no disruptions,” said Searles.

He advised the community to be alert to any traffic disruptions and to avoid those areas if they can.
