PHOTOS: Durban community unites with a festive meal

People from all different kinds of backgrounds united at the event.

THE Denis Hurley Centre was abuzz with a festive spirit as they hosted their annual Meal of Reconciliation on Friday, December 16.

Director of the Centre Raymond Perrier said the meal was a great success.

“It was fantastic to have the Meal of Reconciliation back to pre-Covid-19 levels. It was lovely to welcome people who had not been to the meal before and discover how great it was for them. This is a model of how South Africans can share food and space across all kinds of boundaries,” he said.
