Hit the beach

Sometimes less is more, and a lazy day lounging on the beach could be just what the doctor ordered. Pack a picnic and a good book or a ball to play catch with the children. With the eThekwini Municipality opening beaches for swimming, you could also take a dip to cool off – just check the Life Guards’ noticeboard to make sure swimming is safe.

Take a Rickshaw Ride

Who says this fun novelty is just for tourists? The festive period is a great time to support local and enjoy the attractions that bring thousands to the east coast shores each year. A ride usually costs about R50 per person.  Contact Walter Mdletshe on 081 889 4277 to book a ride, or find a host of Rickshaws on the Golden Mile to choose from.
