Penzance pays homage to the late Officer Jameson

The Penzance Primary School community invites people to join in remembering Officer Jameson.

FOLLOWING the tragic passing of Warrant Officer Michael Jameson (SAPS), Penzance Primary School is inviting the community to pay tribute to the officer and join them in remembering him. The school is offering hearts made out of paper upon which sympathizers can write a message for the family of the late Jameson.

On Wednesday, May 4, Jameson was off-duty when he was shot and killed while picking up his daughter from a school in Umbilo. According to SAPS, Jameson noticed a hijacking in progress and immediately placed himself in harm’s way and responded to the incident.
