One killed, five injured in Berea crash

Six people were ejected from a delivery vehicle on the N3 eastbound.

ONE man was killed and five other people were injured in an accident on the N3, near King Dinizulu Road today (Wednesday, December 22).

Kyle Van Reenen, the spokesperson for Emer-G-Med paramedics, said they arrived on the scene just after 15:00.

He said six men where ejected when a light delivery vehicle overturned.

“One man sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival. The remaining five were treated and stabilised on scene for injuries, ranging from minor to moderate, before being taken to a nearby hospital,” said Van Reenen.
